Candid is in the process of setting up 4 new ventures, which you will find under Partner Sites on the web site. These are due to launch in the first quater of the new year, and we will keep you informed as to when they go live. You never know, we may even throw a party to celebrate - so make sure you are subscribed to our monthly newsletter.

CANDIDHOSTING

This will be a stand alone hosting web site selling a variety of web hosting packages and allowing customers to register domain names.

We have decided to launch hosting as a separate venture and expand it from a service only available to our clients as we this will give us greater control over our hosting services and allow us to offer a better, more competitive service.

CANDIDCREATIVE

This will be a creative talent directory.

We believe a strong visual identity is a vital part of a companies brand identity and is important for both on and offline collateral.

As such we are always trying to achieve the best visual style for our clients and preferably build up a unique library of creative visuals for them that they use throughout all their communications.

Over the years we have worked with a wide range of specialist and non-specialists, including award wining photographers, illustrators, musicians, VJs, multi-media artists, artists, flash designers, film directors, typographers and the like, who have helped us produce the creative visuals that form such a vital part of a companies brand communications, and ensure the strongest brand image possible.

Since we nearly always end up recommending a creative proffessional to work alongside us on projects, and we now have a really great network of them, we have decided to take what seems like the next obvious step and set up a creative talent directory. The directory will gather together all the talented people we have worked with and showcase their work - and also attracts new talent.

Everyone who is registered with the site will have either personally worked with us or our clients, or we will have personally checked both their portfolio and their testimonials to ensure their work and their working methods are of a sufficient standard.

CANDIDCONTENT

This will be a creative talent directory.

The inspiration behind CANDIDCONTENT is in essence the same as the inspiration behind CANDIDCREATIVE. We are increasingly finding that, or a variety of reasons, our clients do not want to run their content managed web sites in-house or produce content for their marketing/ promotional materials. So, we have found ourselves increasingly searching out sector specialist, journalists, copywriters and researchers to provide relevant, quality content for websites, newsletters, press releases, and a wide range of marketing/ promotional materials on a regular basis.

Since we now have a really great network of these professionals, and as web sites are increasingly needing content on a regular basis, we have decided to set up a content producers directory. The directory will gather together all the talented people we have worked with in a wide variety of sectors - and will also attract new talent.

Everyone who is registered with the site will have either personally worked with us or our clients, or we will have personally checked both their work and their testimonials to ensure their work and their working methods are of a sufficient standard.

CANDIDCLOTHING

This is going to be a whole lot of fun! It is, as it says on the tin, a clothing company which will produce a range of branded casual clothing. We will be producing a range of our own designed clothes, and we are also are putting together a range of "Designer Designed" T- shirts.

This is basically just a way for us to blow off excess creativite energy on non-client commisioned work and try at being fashion designers - and we have roped in a load of our talented, creative mates to do the same, hence the "Designer Designed" range, which will features T-shirt ranges from bonna fida fashion designers but also work from graphic designers, web designers, film directors, VJs, DJs, photographers and the like. The first featured designer will be Shanghi born, UK trained fashion designer Ping He who's eclectic style is modern and ethereal whilst remaining 'street'.

We are planning to get this project off the ground in time for the beginning of summer and, if he launch party for the other ventures isn't still haunting us, we were thinking of having a beach party.
